About me

My Philosophy

I believe childbirth is a normal, natural process that should not be interrupted by medical interventions as safely possible.  Using gravity, movement, and other non-medical techniques to ease labor are great ways to ensure a safe, healthy, and happy birth experience.

My Story

I am a wife and mother of 4 beautiful children.  I started my journey in birth work in 2013, when I made the decision to become a birth doula.  I love everything that is involved in the process of becoming a mother. My childen age from 11 years old down to 10 months.  I live in Elizabethtown, PA.  I have been happily married for almost 13 years.  We enjoy spending time together going camping, visiting family in places like New York and Florida, and also just sitting around at home watching movies.  I have been so blessed in my life, and God continues to bless us each and every day.  I am a DONA certified birth doula, PBi trained placenta encapsulation specialist, and I have trained through Lamaze International to become a childbirth educator.  I will sit for the Lamaze exam this year to become certified.
